Australian Cisco Meraki Buying Guide

Cisco Meraki has a unique distribution model worldwide due to the fact the hardware and licences are assigned to the particular end user that acquires the product and they prefer to keep track of it all themselves at HQ in California.

This means that ALL products are shipped from Meraki’s warehouse in California directly to you the end user customer on an order by order basis.  There is NO stock held by any reseller in Australia - despite what you might read on our competitor's web sites.

There is no stock held by any Reseller in Australia - all new Meraki orders ship directly from their California, USA warehouse direct to the customer via DHL.

This is of course unless it's second hand, grey market or refurbished stock.

It's simply not possible to get your hands on a brand new, Cisco Meraki direct product within a day or so in Australia unfortunately.  The time to your door is at least 5-7 days. All hardware products ship via DHL to you at no cost because the freight is built into the price we pay as a reseller. 

BE CAREFUL OF PRODUCTS SOLD ON AMAZON, EBAY OR FROM IT TRADERS, OR THOSE SOLD AT A PRICE TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE! (eg. cheap MR36 APs...)

You run the risk of buying a second-hand device that is still claimed in a disused Dashboard or is 'grey market' gear. Meraki will not warrant or support it if you are not the originally registered end-user customer.

To avoid these problems buy only from an Official Cisco Meraki Reseller like Cloudifi Pty Ltd.

We often see our competitors offering a better price if you contact them first - we are no different in that we have access to Cisco Meraki's deal registration program, Education, NFP and promotional pricing where we can apply for discount pricing on your behalf. 

Meraki only award this to the partner that is first to bring the deal to them and whom have offered some expertise to the customer along the way. It's their way of thanking the channel by rewarding us with a little extra margin - but if we get this - we will pass the savings onto you!  

We'd encourage you to choose your reseller first (hopefully us!) and let us go to work for you to get the best price.

We can usually get special pricing approved quickly because we know the Cisco Meraki team well! Please reach out to us as soon as you are looking for pricing and we will pass this discount on to you if we can obtain it. Meraki often have special promos available and we will get these applied to your order too.

Small Licence renewals are easy to order on our web store and can be turned around within 48 hours in most instances. We are other Reseller and Consultant friendly! If you are NOT a Cisco Meraki partner and need to supply your customer, we are happy to work with you.

Cloudifi isn't one of those aggressive sales organisations that is going to approach or offer services to your customer directly so have no fear reaching out to us if you need to supply your customer with Cisco Meraki Hardware or Licenses. Our reputation with you our customer and with the Cisco Meraki team is important to us!

We will work with you to provide the information you need to properly quote and supply your customer's requirements within the parameters of our Reseller Agreement with Cisco. We will get the best pricing possible by working with the Cisco Meraki team and be mindful that you need to share in the margin too when quoting!
